Wadiz is leveraging the recent growth in camping and outdoor funding to hold a large-scale exclusive planning exhibition for AysionFashion’s new brand, Alaska.
Lifedesign funding platform Wadiz announced that it is conducting a 2022 Camping · Outdoor Fashion 10-Item Planning Exhibition with Alaska, an outdoor casual brand, to prepare for winter camping and outdoor activities.
According to Wadiz, as the endemic atmosphere of the first half of this year coincides, the growth trend of camping and outdoor funding is prominent. From January to July this year, the number of outdoor funding openings increased by 130% compared to the same period last year, and fundraising increased by 112%, collecting 15.1 billion won. This has already far exceeded the 14.6 billion won raised during 2020 in just 7 months. Additionally, the number of supporters participating in funding increased by 105% compared to the same period last year, reflecting the high demand in the camping and outdoor sector.
This funding planning exhibition marks the first public unveiling of AysionFashion’s outdoor casual brand ‘Alaska’, featuring first season items that introduce the story of the new outdoor brand and the functionality and development process of the products. It was planned to convey brand experience to Wadiz’ 4.5 million supporters, who tend to support brand launches and actively share their opinions, as well as to new customers.
In preparation for the upcoming fall and winter, items such as fleece, raincoats, jackets that can be comfortably worn not only in outdoor activities but also in everyday life, along with vegan padding, quilt sleeping bags, reversible alpaca, and various other items that can be utilized for multiple purposes were included to add a special touch. Nine projects are sequentially opening their funding from the 17th for 3 days, and are drawing attention by receiving approximately 12,000 selections in the ‘Pre-Notification Application’ where funding demand can be predicted.
A Wadiz official stated, “Since this planning exhibition is a funding to announce the first launch of the ‘Alaska’ brand, we composed it with products that have high demand among Wadiz supporters” and “We plan to continue partnering with companies looking to leverage the advantages of the funding platform such as brand storytelling and customer feedback acquisition, and continue to roll out large-scale funding going forward”.
Meanwhile, the 10 Alaska funding products can be directly experienced at ‘Space Wadiz’ located in Seongsu-dong, Seoul until the 28th.
