-From Busan's representative manufacturing maker ‘Social Bean’ CEO Kim Hak-su's entrepreneurial success secrets to funding consultation for establishing direction
Wadiz, a life design funding platform, successfully held ‘Maker Day’ for startups and creators preparing to launch funding at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok Branch in Busan on the 25th, announcing the event on the 26th.
This event is an offline lecture held for the first time in 2.5 years since February 2019, and was organized as part of expanding Busan's regional entrepreneurial ecosystem. It is part of the ‘Wadiz School’ education service that started in 2014 to promote funding services that anyone can challenge, unlike the general distribution market where competition is fierce without capital.
In particular, this ‘Maker Day’ was attended by over 400 prospective makers including Busan startups, small-to-medium enterprises, creators, and startup clubs from Busan universities preparing to launch funding, demonstrating vibrant entrepreneurial spirit in the Busan region.
Starting with funding introduction education, the event proceeded in order of Busan's representative manufacturing maker ‘Social Bean’ CEO Kim Hak-su's entrepreneurial success secrets, Wadiz directors' funding consultation, and Q&A. Social Bean is an experienced team with over 60 successful funding experiences. After successful funding, the team continues to grow by listing on ‘Wadiz Store’, which enables continuous sales after funding, and steadily increasing revenue.
In particular, it was characterized by being structured to provide practical help in establishing funding direction by conducting free on-site consultation from the preparation process for successful fundraising and marketing.
Jang Min-young, team leader of Wadiz Maker Growth Planning Team, stated “We plan to expand Wadiz education and briefings to each region, starting with Busan,” and “We aim to discover hidden makers who are sufficiently attractive but remain only in the region, and introduce Wadiz funding nationwide,” he added.
Social Bean CEO Kim Hak-su said, “I believe Wadiz is a place where you can reduce the risks you encounter in the market and easily meet customers who support your brand,” and “If you push through what you think are your weaknesses, you will gain even greater competitive advantages, so I encourage you to challenge yourself without hesitation.”
Meanwhile, Social Bean is a leading domestic manufacturing-based startup founded by CEO Kim Hak-su in 2013, manufacturing lifestyle products and operating related brands.
