Wadiz, 'Positive Impact' Through Artist Jung Eun-hye's Artwork Funding... Supporting Underserved Children in Culture & Arts Education
- 'Our Blues' Actor and Artist Jung Eun-hye, Limited Edition 30-Point Woodprint Funding Project 'Open'
- 10% of Funding Target to Be 'Donated' to Support Arts Education and Growth of Underserved Children
As Christmas approaches, Wadiz launches a heartwarming sharing project with actor and artist Jung Eun-hye from 'Our Blues.'Wadiz, a life design funding platform (CEO Shin Hye-sung, www.wadiz.kr), announced the launch of a donation project supporting the dreams of underserved children through limited-edition woodprint artwork funding by artist Jung Eun-hye on the 10th.
This funding is a project selected for the art artist planning exhibition 'Art in wadiz,' where you can encounter five popular woodprints by artist Jung Eun-hye, who conveys dreams and hope, in limited edition. A distinctive feature is that each work is signed in Jung Eun-hye's own handwriting, adding to its rarity.
Artist Jung Eun-hye is a veteran artist who has drawn over 4,000 caricatures and planned this project to communicate with more people through her art and convey hope.
The funding rewards include Jung Eun-hye's first colored work and portrait 'Your Face, Eun-hye,' 'Unni Ji-min' capturing actor Han Ji-min through the artist's perspective, 'Playful Giro' and 'Baby Giro' featuring a pet dog as a model, and 'Cat Ryota' showcasing playful humor, a total of five works, with 30 prints per work offered in limited edition. Supporters participating in the funding will receive an edition woodprint along with a certificate of authenticity for the artwork.
In particular, 10% of the funding target will be used to support arts education through 'G Foundation' so that children in underserved areas can learn without losing their dreams about art. This donation will be made jointly in the name of artist Jung Eun-hye, the supporters participating in the funding, and Wadiz.
Artist Jung Eun-hye expressed her feelings through this project, saying, "I am thrilled and excited to be able to share the happiness I have with more people, and to help children dreaming of becoming artists grow without losing their dreams."
Jeon Ju-hyun, Culture & Creator Team Lead at Wadiz overseeing this project, said, "Through collaboration with artists like Jung Eun-hye, I hope talented Korean artists will be discovered," and added, "We will help artists who want to make a positive impact on the world realize their dreams through funding."
Meanwhile, Wadiz launched the in-house social contribution team 'Wadiz wa' in November last year, beginning with the success of a funding project supporting the independence of single-father households. In December, it held a special planning exhibition for 'Disability Product Special Funding' to develop the talents and create jobs for people with disabilities. In March this year, it conducted emergency relief funding to support the 'Ukraine War' and 'Gangwon Province Wildfire Damage,' and in August, 'Central Region Flood Damage,' fully donating the funding amounts. It continues to deliver social value through funding to places where help and hope are needed.
