[Transparency Report] September 2022 Transparency Report

Wadiz has been issuing monthly transparency reports since August 2020. A transparency report is a report containing reports submitted by members to Wadiz and the results of actions taken on those reports, andis comprised mainly of funding report submission data. Through this report, Wadiz transparently discloses actual data on how it responds to project issues, creating a platform environment that members can trust and use with greater confidence.
1. Report Submission Data
- Report submission countis measured based on the number of reports received through the 'Report' feature on the right side of the funding project page, and if there are multiple reports for a single project, it is counted as multiple based on the number of reporters.
- Report submission typesinclude 'Intellectual Property Infringement', 'False Information in Story', 'Distribution of Identical Products Through Other Channels', 'Community Policy Violation', and otherreasons that go against the purpose of funding or undermine the order of the Wadiz community.
- Report submission data represents a key indicator showing potential risks that can directly or indirectly cause supporter damage and dissatisfaction.

2. Coming Soon Report Ratio
- 'Coming Soon' refers toa pre-opening service where supporters can preview the project story before the official funding begins.
The Coming Soon project page provides a notification request feature for when the official funding opens. - Reports during the Coming Soon stagefunction as a pre-detection mechanism for project risks before official opening, and through this, proactive problem-solving is possible before the official funding launch.

3. Number of Reported Projects
- 'Number of Reported Projects' refers tothe number of projects for which one or more reports have been received, and even if multiple reports are submitted, if the target project is the same, it is counted as one.
- The proportion of reported projects compared to open projects representsthe proportion of projects that can cause supporter damage and dissatisfaction among all projects and is a key indicator.

4. Report Project Category Statistics
- This is category-based classification data of projects that received reports during the current month.
- In the current month,out of a total of 17 project categories,11 categories received reports.

5. Report Project Processing Results
- All reports that are received with the required qualifications undergofact-checking.
- In cases where issues are confirmed,the Funding Report Policydetermines follow-up measures.
- When the maker's statement is needed during the fact-checking process, Wadiz requests itthrough official correspondence, and when necessary, discloses the reported facts and statement request details to supporters through News Updates.

⁕ Non-qualifying Report: Reports received that do not meet reporting requirements or lack supporting evidence to substantiate the reported content, making it difficult to proceed with follow-up procedures
- Processing Completed
- Cases where fact-checking of reported content that meets reporting requirements has been completed and determined as 'Issue Found' based on policy, resulting in refunds of funding, deletion of inappropriate content, project cancellation, or other follow-up procedures, or cases where reported content that meets reporting requirements has undergone fact-checking and determined as 'No Issue Found' based on policy and concluded without follow-up procedures- Processing
Cases where fact-checking is in progress on reported content that meets reporting requirements, or follow-up procedures are in progress as determined as 'Issue Found' based on policy- No Processing Necessary
Cases of 'Non-qualifying Reports' or 'Previously Concluded Issues' where follow-up procedures have not been taken
⁕ Previously Concluded Issue: Issues that meet reporting requirements but have already undergone fact-checking in the past as of the current month, concluded as 'No Issue' or completed necessary measures through 'Project Cancellation' or 'Funding Refund', making follow-up procedures unnecessary
6. Report Submission Examples
This month, we introduce examples of reports related to 'Intellectual Property Infringement'.

- Report Content
There was a report of intellectual property infringement stating that the structure and wording of the story written by the maker identically or similarly copied a specific product's detail page. - Processing Result
The maker acknowledged that they had benchmarked the detail page of a specific product, and accordingly, Wadiz took measures to allow the maker to fully revise their story.

- Report Content
There was a report of intellectual property infringement stating that the reporter's trademark was being exposed without authorization in the story written by the maker. The reporter submitted a trademark certificate as supporting evidence. - Processing Result
Wadiz confirmed that the trademark for which the reporter holds rights was being exposed without authorization in the maker's project story. As the project has ended, we have taken measures to remove the exposure.
7. Understanding Report Types - 'Intellectual Property Infringement'
'Intellectual Property Infringement'refers tocases where rewards, services, related posts, etc. infringe on the intellectual property rights of others which can be reported. Even if the project has ended, if posts related to products or services that infringe intellectual property rights remain, reports can be submitted. Wadiz does not engage in judicial judgment or mediation activities on individual reports, and when disputes arise from reports of 'Intellectual Property Infringement', it informs supporters through News Updates about the reported facts and dispute details as shown in the following example.
