[Transparency Report] April 2021 Transparency Report - Focused on Key Funding Data #TrustAndFundWithWadiz

Wadiz has been publishing a monthly Transparency Report since August 2020. The Transparency Report is a report that contains the details of member complaints submitted to Wadiz and the resulting actions taken, centered around funding complaint data. Through this report, we aim to transparently disclose the actual data on how Wadiz responds to project issues, creating a platform environment that members can use with greater trust.
1. Number of Reports Received
- The 'Number of Reports Received' is measured based on the number of reports submitted through the ‘Report’ feature on the right side of the funding project page; if multiple reports are submitted for a single project, each reporter is counted individually.
- Report types include ‘Intellectual Property Infringement’, ‘False Information in Story’, ‘Distribution of Identical Product Through Other Channels’, ‘Community Policy Violation’, and other reasons that go against the purpose of funding or undermine the Wadiz community order.
- The number of reports received is a key indicator showing potential risks that may directly or indirectly cause supporter damage and dissatisfaction.

2. Number of Reports for Pre-Launch Projects
- ‘Pre-Launch’ refers to a pre-release service that allows supporters to preview a project story before the official funding begins; the pre-launch project page provides a feature to sign up for notifications when the funding officially opens.
- Reports at the pre-launch stage serve as an early risk detection function before the project officially opens.
- By receiving and processing reports at the pre-launch stage, issues can be proactively resolved before the official funding opens.

3. Number of Reported Projects
- The ‘Number of Reported Projects’ refers to the number of projects with at least one report; even if multiple reporters submit reports, if the target project is the same, it is counted as one.
- The ratio of reported projects to the number of open projects is a key indicator representing the proportion of projects that may cause supporter damage and dissatisfaction among all projects.

4. Statistics by Category of Reported Projects
- This data classifies funding projects that received at least one report during the current month by category.

5. Processing Results of Reported Projects
- All reports that meet the requirements are subject to a full fact-checking process.
- For projects where issues are confirmed, measures such as refunding the funding amount and deleting inappropriate content are taken.
- If the maker's explanation is required during the fact-checking process, an explanation is requested via official correspondence, and if necessary, the report and explanation request details are disclosed to supporters as news.

*Processing Complete: A case in which the report meets the requirements and, following a fact-check, is deemed ‘problematic’ based on policy, resulting in subsequent procedures such as refunding the funding amount, deleting inappropriate content, or canceling the project. Or a case in which the report meets the requirements and, following a fact-check, is deemed ‘no issue’ based on policy, and the case is closed without further action.
*Processing In Progress: A case in which the report meets the requirements and fact-checking is underway, or a case in which it has been deemed 'problematic' based on policy and subsequent procedures are in progress.
[Appendix] Corrected Data for January–August 2020
We are correcting the number of reports received and the number of reported projects for January–August 2020 in the Transparency Report.
Upon reviewing the January–August 2020 report data extracted at the time of the first publication of last year's Transparency Report, we found discrepancies of at least 1 and up to 17 cases compared to the data queried at the current time. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that missing and duplicate data from past reports were corrected when the reporting feature was improved in October 2020. In accordance with Wadiz's policy of transparently disclosing data, we inform you that starting from the April 2021 Transparency Report, the corrected data will be published.

If you have any questions regarding the above, please contact us at the official Wadiz email (info@wadiz.kr) and we will respond.
