[Transparency Report] August 2021 Transparency Report - Focused on Key Funding Data #TrustFundingWithWadiz

Wadiz's Transparency Report has celebrated its 1st anniversary.
Wadiz produces and publishes the Transparency Report with the hope that members will trust and use Wadiz by transparently disclosing funding project issues and their handling results. As diverse projects are being introduced to the world on the foundation of members' support and trust, Wadiz will continue to make both large and small efforts to create a fair and safe user environment.
Wadiz has been publishing a monthly Transparency Report since August 2020. The Transparency Report is a report containing members' reports submitted to Wadiz and the corresponding action results, structured primarily around funding report data. Through this report, Wadiz aims to transparently disclose actual data on how it responds to project issues, thereby creating a platform environment where members can use the service with even greater trust.
1. Number of Reports Received
- The 'number of reports received' is measured based on the number of reports submitted via the ‘Report’ feature on the right side of the funding project page; if multiple reports are submitted for a single project, each reporter is counted separately.
- Report types include ‘intellectual property infringement’, ‘false information in the story’, ‘distribution of the same product through other channels’, ‘community policy violations’, and other reasons that contradict the purpose of funding or undermine Wadiz community order.
- The number of reports received is a key indicator showing potential risks that could directly or indirectly cause supporter harm and dissatisfaction.

2. Number of Reports for Pre-Open Projects
- ‘Pre-Open’ refers to a pre-release service that allows supporters to preview the project story before the official funding launch; the pre-open project page provides a feature to sign up for launch notifications.
- Reports at the pre-open stage serve as an early risk detection function before the official project launch.
- Through receiving and processing reports at the pre-open stage, issues can be proactively resolved before the official funding launch.

3. Number of Reported Projects
- ‘Number of reported projects’ refers to the number of projects that have received at least one report; even if multiple reports are submitted, if the reported project is the same, it is counted as one.
- The proportion of reported projects relative to the total number of open projects is a key indicator representing the proportion of projects that could cause supporter harm and dissatisfaction among all projects.

4. Statistics by Category for Reported Projects
- Category classification data for projects reported during the current month
- Deletion of the 'Design Goods' category
- 'Class' and 'Performance·Culture' categories → renamed to 'Class·Consulting' and 'Culture·Artist' respectively
- 'Character·Goods' and 'Cultural Life' categories have been newly added, and there are currently 18 categories in total

5. Handling Results for Reported Projects
- All reports received that meet the requirements undergo a full fact-check.
- For projects where issues are confirmed, measures such as refunding the funding amount and deleting inappropriate content are taken,
If the reporting requirements are not met, no follow-up procedures are carried out. - If the maker's explanation is required during the fact-checking process, an explanation is requested via official correspondence,
When necessary, the report and explanation request details are disclosed to supporters as news.

*Processing Complete: Cases where the reporting requirements were met, a fact-check was conducted on the report content, and based on policy, a judgment of ‘problematic’ was made, leading to follow-up procedures such as refunding the funding amount, deleting inappropriate content, or canceling the project. Or cases where the reporting requirements were met, a fact-check was conducted, and based on policy, a judgment of ‘no problem’ was made and the case was closed without follow-up procedures.
*Processing In Progress: Cases where the reporting requirements were met and a fact-check on the report content is underway, or where a judgment of 'problematic' has been made based on policy and follow-up procedures are in progress.
*No Processing Required: Cases of 'reports not meeting requirements' or 'previously closed issues', where no follow-up procedures were carried out.
└ Reports Not Meeting Requirements: Cases where the reporting requirements are not met, or where supporting evidence for the report content is insufficient, making it difficult to proceed with follow-up procedures.
└ Previously Closed Issue: Cases where the reporting requirements were met, but as of the current month, a fact-check had already been conducted in the past and the case was closed as ‘no issue’, or necessary measures such as ‘project cancellation’ or ‘funding refund’ had already been completed, making further follow-up procedures unnecessary.
