[Transparency Report] January 2022 Transparency Report

Wadiz has been issuing monthly transparency reports since August 2020. A transparency report is a report containing details of member reports received by Wadiz and the results of actions taken in response. It is organized primarily around funding report data. Through this report, Wadiz transparently discloses actual data on how it responds to project issues in order to create a platform environment where members can use it with greater confidence.
1. Report Receipt Count
- 'Report receipt count' is measured based on reports received through the 'Report' feature on the right side of the funding project page, and if there are multiple reports for a single project, it is counted multiple times according to the number of reporters
- The types of reports received include ‘intellectual property infringement’, ‘false facts in story’, ‘distribution of identical products through other channels’, ‘community policy violation’, etc. These are reasons that go against the purpose of funding or undermine the order of the Wadiz community
- The number of reports received is a key indicator that shows potential risks that can directly or indirectly cause harm and dissatisfaction to supporters

2. Pre-Launch Report Count
- 'Pre-launch' is a pre-release service that allows supporters to preview a project story before official funding begins, and the pre-launch project page provides a function to apply for open launch notifications
- Reports during the pre-launch phase serve as a function to detect risks before official project launch, and through this, proactive problem solving before official funding launch is possible

3. Number of Reported Projects
- 'Number of reported projects' refers to the number of projects that have one or more reports, and even if multiple reports are received, if the projects that are reported on are the same, it is counted as one
- The proportion of reported projects compared to the number of open projects represents the proportion of projects among all projects that could cause harm and dissatisfaction to supporters and is a key indicator

4. Statistics by Category of Reported Projects
- Category classification data of projects with reports received in the current month
- Currently, a total of 17 project categories exist

5. Processing Results of Reported Projects
- All reports that are accepted with proper requirements undergo full fact-checking
- In cases where issues are confirmed, follow-up measures are taken in accordance with policy
- If a maker's statement is needed during the fact-checking process, a statement request is sent via official notification and if necessary, the report and statement request contents are disclosed to supporters through a news post

*Processing Completed
Cases where reports that meet the reporting requirements have undergone fact-checking as a result, and based on policy, are judged as 'problematic' and follow-up procedures such as refunding, deletion of inappropriate content, or project cancellation are in progress. Or cases where reports that meet the reporting requirements have undergone fact-checking as a result, and based on policy, are judged as 'no problem' and are concluded without follow-up procedures
*Processing In Progress
Cases where reports that meet the reporting requirements are undergoing fact-checking, or based on policy, are judged as 'problematic' and follow-up procedures are in progress
