An information portal containing 'everything about the funding industry' opens to help makers with challenges to start and grow through funding.
Wadiz (www.wadiz.kr CEO Hyeseong Shin), a life design funding platform, announced on the 16th that it has opened the 'Maker Center'—a space where diverse content including service guides, startup trends, and know-how necessary for makers from individual creators to SMEs and large corporations can be found in one place.
The tagline 'Where Challenges Become Easy' for the Maker Center embodies Wadiz's vision of 'creating a world where anyone can take on challenges' and its commitment to systematically supporting maker growth. The focus is on providing timely information to makers preparing to enter funding, pre-order, and store offerings, and supporting them in securing competitiveness. Given the unique characteristics of the Wadiz platform, which operates with different policies and services from other distribution channels such as general commerce and open markets, the Maker Center was created out of the core need for fast and accurate information delivery.
The Maker Center operates △Notice/Event boards that provide makers with timely information such as various exhibition recruitment, partnership benefits, service schedules, and transparency reports, and △Maker Support Service boards that introduce services connected to funding, store, and pre-order. Additionally, it is composed of △Maker Guide with answers to frequently asked questions, usage guides, and tips makers encounter at each stage while preparing and running funding campaigns, and △Maker Stories containing insights from Wadiz success cases.
'Wadiz School' providing lectures on how to write funding stories, promotional marketing strategies, and pre-order briefing sessions, 'Partner Service' matching with verified partners, and 'Advertising Service' for planning and executing funding advertisements are organized as quick menus on the Maker Center main screen, significantly enhancing information accessibility.
Going forward, makers will be able to check previously scattered maker-focused information through a unified channel, allowing them to leverage diverse maker services, and easy and quick information acquisition will enable effective service learning.
Cha Jaeyoung, Director of Wadiz Maker Experience Team, said "We planned a maker community where connection and communication flow naturally so makers can visit the Maker Center whenever they think of the word 'challenge'" and added "It will grow into a funding industry portal providing all necessary information throughout the brand lifecycle, from funding and store to pre-order news as well as startup trends."
Meanwhile, along with the opening of the Maker Center, Wadiz is developing and selling 'Barer Kit,' an official Wadiz delivery packaging set. It consists of packing tape for product packaging, two types of stickers, and thank you message cards. It is designed to provide supporters who have waited a long time for products with an enjoyable unboxing and brand experience with the message "You were born with the support of our supporters."
