[Transparency Report] May 2022 Transparency Report

Wadiz has been issuing monthly transparency reports since August 2020. A transparency report is a report containing reports submitted by members on Wadiz and the results of actions taken on them, composed primarily of funding report data. Through this report, Wadiz transparently discloses actual data on how we respond to project issues, and we aim to create a platform environment where members can use our services with greater confidence and trust.
1. Number of Reports Received
- The "number of reports received" is measured based on the number of reports submitted through the 'Report' function on the right side of the funding project page, and if there are multiple reports for a single project, the count is calculated by the number of individual reporters.
- Types of reports received include ‘intellectual property infringement’, ‘false facts in stories’, ‘distribution of identical products through other channels’, ‘community policy violations’, and other reasons that contradict the purpose of funding or undermine the order of the Wadiz community
- The number of reports received is a key indicator showing potential risks that could directly or indirectly cause supporter damage and dissatisfaction

2. Number of Pre-Launch Reports
- 'Pre-launch' is a pre-disclosure service that allows supporters to review a project story before the official funding starts, and on the pre-launch project page, a feature to apply for notifications of the official funding launch is provided.
- Reports during the pre-launch phase serve as a function to detect risks before the official launch of the project, and through this, problems can be resolved proactively before the official funding launch.

3. Number of Reported Projects
- 'Number of reported projects' refers to the number of projects with one or more reports, and even if multiple reports are received, if the subject of the report is the same project, it is counted as 1.
- The proportion of reported projects compared to the number of launches is a key indicator representing the proportion of projects that could cause supporter damage and dissatisfaction among all projects

4. Statistics by Category of Reported Projects
- Classification data by category of projects that received reports in the current month
- Currently there are a total of 17 project categories.

5. Processing Results of Reported Projects
- All reports submitted that meet the reporting requirements undergo fact-checking in their entirety
- For projects where issues are confirmed, policyfollow-up measuresare taken accordingly
- If the maker's response is necessary during the fact-checking process, a statement of opinion is requested through official notice and if necessary, the report and request for statement contents are disclosed to supporters as news

Or cases where the reporting requirements have been met and fact-checking of the report content has resulted in a determination of 'no problems' based on policy, and the matter is closed without any follow-up procedures.
