Wadiz is establishing a dedicated maker page to gather follow-based 'fans' and strengthening 'social' features for communication.
Wadiz, a life design funding platform, announced the launch of 'Maker Pages' that allow each maker to easily check and communicate about project and corporate information.
The Maker Page is a dedicated maker page where makers can gather brand fans on a follow-based basis within the platform and view maker information such as project details and satisfaction ratings at a glance.
When supporters who participated in the maker's first funding or new customers 'follow' them, the maker gets a kind of 'feed' where they can continuously promote and communicate with them. Supporters can receive the latest news about projects and various events from makers they empathize with, their favorite brands, and areas of interest the fastest.
Wadiz plans to strengthen relationship-based services with social features within the platform through Maker Pages. The Maker Page, which debuted in February, is currently used by approximately 4,000 teams cumulatively, and the cumulative number of followers has exceeded 110,000 in just 3 weeks of launch, showing that the service for relationship building between makers and supporters is being established quickly.
It has been shown that when relationships are formed between makers and supporters, funding participation becomes more active. According to Wadiz's own analysis, among users who participated in funding in the food category over the past 2 years, the rate of re-participation when the same maker opens a new project reaches 30%.
When supporters participate in a maker's new project after having funded them at least once, the funding amount increases by an average of 52%, and the number of days required to make a funding decision is shortened by 10 days. When supporters have had positive experiences through funding, the rate of re-participation in funding from the same maker increases significantly.
A Wadiz representative said, "With recent issues of enhanced personal information protection by global companies, significant changes are expected such as restrictions on targeted advertising, and for small brands with high dependence on online advertising marketing, securing fans to induce repeat purchases is important," and "We plan to strengthen Maker Pages as a 'fandom platform' where makers and supporters can directly communicate and strengthen their relationships even after project completion through Maker Pages."
Meanwhile, Wadiz is conducting a commission discount event targeting makers through April 30th in commemoration of the service launch. Among funding projects conducted between March 2nd and April 25th, Wadiz will select the top 5 makers with the largest increases in Wadiz funding, store purchases, and follow counts combined, and offer discounts of up to 30% on transaction fees for subsequent funding.
Any maker who opens and closes funding during the event period can participate, and detailed information can be found on the Wadiz website.
