Wadiz has been selected for 3 consecutive years as a '2022 Asia-Pacific High-Growth Company' by the British Financial Times (FT).
The Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies (FT High Growth Companies Asia-Pacific 2022) is an annual ranking published by the Financial Times and Statista, a global research specialist, that surveys 500 high-growth companies among enterprises in 13 Asia-Pacific countries.
This year, the survey targeted 15,000 companies that had revenues of at least $100,000 in 2017 and at least $1,000,000 in 2020, with the top 500 companies selected based on revenue growth rate.
Wadiz ranked 84th among the 500 companies with a revenue growth rate of 735% from 2017 to 2020 and a compound annual growth rate of 103.1%, and 10th among fintech companies.
In particular, Wadiz was selected for the 3rd consecutive year following 2020 and 2021. Among the 52 Korean companies selected for the Asia-Pacific High-Growth Companies this time, 5 companies, including Wadiz, were listed for 3 consecutive years.
Wadiz CEO Shin Hye-sung said, "Wadiz, which has built a unique industrial domain of 'funding' over the past 10 years, will continue to be a platform that builds a startup ecosystem where anyone - from startups and SMEs to university students, ordinary people, and creators - can make new challenges and grow together."
Meanwhile, Wadiz, which started as a funding platform company in 2012, is establishing itself as a comprehensive D2C platform covering everything from SMEs to large enterprises by launching new business models such as partnerships with global IP companies including Disney, Iconix, Hyundai Motor, and Nexon, and lending services for makers.
Recently, Wadiz has strengthened social communication functions connecting small brands and fandoms through the 'Maker Page' that directly connects makers and supporters, and is introducing the 'Wadiz Store' service where supporters can discover curated products alongside new brand campaigns featuring the 'Fan Shop' concept - a collection shop of successful crowdfunding recognized by fans.
