Tailored IP (Intellectual Property) products for home drinkers and alcohol enthusiasts are making waves through funding launches. The pre-opened 'Soju Dispenser' surpassed 300 million won immediately upon launch.
Wadiz, a lifestyle design funding platform, announced on the 12th that it will launch 10 idea funding products featuring the Jinro Toad IP in collaboration with Hite Jinro, South Korea's leading comprehensive liquor company loved by all generations from 2030 to 5060.
This funding round carefully selected ideas gathered through 'Fanz Maker,' an IP matching program jointly conducted by Wadiz and Hite Jinro last October, and developed them into actual products for launch. Following Zaboomafoo (Iconix) and MapleStory (Nexon), this is the third launch. With 7 makers and 8 projects in total, the Soju Dispenser that pre-opened on the 7th surpassed 300 million won in funding, and notification subscriptions before launch reached a total of 18,000 across all projects, drawing strong interest.
In particular, this 'Jinro Toad' edition focuses on a customized lineup for all generations enjoying home drinking alone, with friends, lovers, and family members. From an automatic soju dispenser that pours drinks into glasses to insulated coolers, sandwich maker & coin-eating piggy bank, bean bag sofas, toad pillows that promote comfortable sleep, and skincare devices for the day after drinking—the collection features unique and fun products for enjoyable gatherings. Water-resistant notebooks, neon wireless chargers, and moving figurines that are rarely seen in everyday life also stand out.
This lineup is characterized by differentiation through unique products not found in Hite Jinro's offline pop-up store 'Dukkeopsan Sanghoé,' known as the 'Adult Stationery Store.' Notable is the expansion of IP products beyond general merchandise into diverse everyday lifestyle areas such as home living and tech appliances.

Meanwhile, the Jinro Toad funding merchandise can be encountered simultaneously through offline channels and social media, including a special exhibition at Seongsu-dong Gonggan Wadiz until the 24th of this month and exhibitions at 'Dukkeopsan Sanghoé Busan Branch' (second week of April). Follow-up funding is preparing to launch special appliances such as 'Electric Grill' and 'Toad Refrigerator,' heightening fans' expectations.
