What is Safe Number?
It's a service that replaces the contact information of supporters who participated in your project with a one-time temporary number.
1) We implemented this service starting March 21, 2023 to protect supporter personal information and build trust.
- You can only use Safe Number when contacting supporters or reward recipients, or when sending shipping information to delivery companies.
- By communicating with virtual phone numbers instead of actual phone numbers, you can protect personal information.
- Supporters trust makers and Wadiz, and can participate in projects without worrying about personal information exposure.
2) You can check Safe Number in Maker Studio.
| Funding/Pre-order | From the day after final payment is completed, you can generate Safe Number directly from [Shipment & Refund Management]. (Safe Number is issued as one-time use and has an expiration date (maximum 60 days from creation), so please generate Safe Number after you're ready to ship rewards.) |
| Store | After payment is completed, the supporter's contact information is automatically generated as Safe Number, so please check it in [Sales Management]. |
- You must generate Safe Number first before you can download unshipped information. Please be sure to check Safe Number before shipping rewards.
- If the expiration date is within 15 days, you can regenerate Safe Number.
3) Safe Number can only be used until a specific point in time.

| Store | All are deactivated 7 days after purchase confirmation/order cancellation/refund completion. |
- After Safe Number is deactivated, you cannot know the contact information of supporters and reward recipients.
- Actual contact information is exposed with masking. (Example: 01023**45**)
4) Check how you can contact using Safe Number.
- You can send calls or texts to individual supporters through Safe Number.
- You cannot send promotional texts using group messaging.
- Safe Number cannot be used to send mobile gift cards (ex. Gift Certificates), making it difficult to run related events.
