Wadiz X P&K Dermatology Clinical Research Center, Special Support for 'Human Application Tests' for Beauty Brands
- Korea's largest crowdfunding platform and No. 1 human application test institution collaborate... to enhance initial beauty brand credibility and facilitate effective launches
- Resolving the challenge of expensive human application tests... free skin safety testing and P&K certification mark provided
Experts have come together to provide human application test support for entrepreneurs who want to create their own beauty brands.
Wadiz, a lifestyle design crowdfunding platform, has announced on the 20th the launch of a 'Special Clinical Support Program' that partners with P&K, Korea's No. 1 institution for cosmetic human application tests, to provide beauty makers with cosmetic human application test (clinical test) support and funding promotion marketing benefits.
This program was designed for beauty makers who are preparing to launch through Wadiz crowdfunding or who want to clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of existing crowdfunded products. Participating makers will conduct human application tests from late June, prepare for funding, and hold an exclusive promotion event in September.
'Human application test' results are considered the best materials for verifying effectiveness when launching beauty products, but have been seen as a disadvantage for makers starting out initial brands due to high costs. The purpose of this collaboration is to address these concerns of beauty makers and support brand credibility enhancement and effective launches.
Wadiz and P&K will provide human application test packages to all makers applying for the program at costs up to 40% lower than before, as well as provide free skin safety testing and P&K certification marks. Additionally, they plan to prepare 1-on-1 funding expert matching, as well as storefronts on Wadiz Store and Space Wadiz, establishing a foundation from brand product verification to post-funding distribution.
A Wadiz official stated, "In the beauty industry, Wadiz has become recognized as a channel for the growth of small brands in that consumers can resolve practical concerns rather than just focusing on brand name value and have new products verified," and added, "We will contribute to fostering next-generation beauty brands by reducing the cost burden of human application tests, which will serve as a measure of efficacy before official product launch."
A P&K official stated, "Based on P&K's unique human application test trends and expertise, along with detailed consulting information derived from accumulated databases, we will be able to secure both product safety and reliability."
Meanwhile, the 'Special Clinical Support Program' jointly held by Wadiz and P&K successfully concluded an information session on the 8th, and makers interested in participating can apply through the Wadiz homepage by the 26th.
