<STORY Type Test>
series.
Be sure to take this with you!
- Did you find the story type that suits you best through the Story Type Test?
- Based on your test results, I’ll walk you through the four main steps of story writing,
- as well as the key points to keep in mind when writing empathetic Stories.
* Wait a minute—first, take the quizto find out which Story type suits you best.
1) Your story type is “Empathetic.”
- Through this project, you’ll not only share your story with others but also
- make a positive social impact,
- and I hope that the process of creating the Rewards and the reasons behind the project will receive more attention than the Rewards themselves.
Try writing a story that draws people’s attention to your story—or your brand’s story. We recommend starting your Story by explaining why you’re undertaking this project. It’s important to build a connection so that even supporters who don’t know you (or your brand) will want to cheer you on. Using your past achievements, background, and testimonials to build trust is also a great strategy.
2) 4 Steps to Creating an “Empathetic” Story
Once you’ve found the story type that suits you, it’s time to write it yourself.Use the worksheet to confidently prepare each step, or mark (V) next to the sections you think are essential. You can reorder the specific items within each step, but we don’t recommend changing the order of the steps themselves. Once you’ve decided on the order, review the example stories to learn how to connect them naturally—and you’re all set!
