From the requirements for launching a project to how to prepare Rewards—if you’re a maker interested in pre-order services, pay close attention. We’ve compiled the questions you’ve probably wondered about at least once.

1) Requirements for Running a Pre-Order Campaign
Q. wadizproducts that are sold year-round in the Wadizavailable for purchase at any time on the Wadiz Can I offer the same product for pre-order through a pre-order project? I’m wondering if I need to suspend sales of the product on the wadiz Store to run a pre-order, or if simultaneous sales are allowed.
A. If you offer better benefits than those provided through the wadiz Store, you can proceed with the pre-order without discontinuing sales on the wadiz Store.
| (Example) - If the wadiz Store offers a 15% discount, but the pre-order offers a 20% price discount - Or, if you’re offering a pre-order bundle consisting of multiple products that aren’t sold on the wadiz Store |
Q.Due to positive response, we’re planning a second encore campaign. Do we Do we have to offer better perks than the previous encore project?
A. No, you can run a second encore project even if the perks are the same as those in your previous encore project.
Q.There have been improvements (such as changes in color or material) to the Rewards provided through the funding campaign. If there are in the product, do we have to run another funding campaign?
A. Yes, you can run a funding campaign. Alternatively, if the benefits are exclusive to the domestic market, special bundles, or limited editions, you can also run a pre-order campaign. Feel free to choose whichever project type you prefer.
2) Rewards Design
Q.I understand that in funding, it’s not possible to design a purely donation-based rewards structure where no tangible or intangible rewards are provided. In that case, can I design a purely donation-based Rewards structure for a pre-order project?
A. No, sinceproducts offered through pre-orders must include one of the following benefits—special bundle, domestic exclusive, or limited edition —pure donation-based rewards cannot be offered. Even for individual sponsorship projects, you must provide either tangible or intangible rewards, such as an online certificate.
Q. In the [Rewards Design] tab, Can I apply different special benefits for each Reward?
A.Yes, this is possible as long as every reward card offers at least one of the following benefits: Korea-exclusive, limited edition, or a special benefit. However,if you select the “Korea-exclusive” benefit in Maker Studio, all reward cards must be distributed exclusively through wadiz within Korea.
