Have you heard of J.Dot Maker, the jewelry startup that defied predictions that selling online would inevitably lead to failure?
In fact, they started with jewelry and went on to launch a Christmas tree on wadiz, reaching a cumulative funding total of 2.5 billion won.
A graduate of an Ivy League engineering school, Jaydot Maker began his life as an immigrant in the U.S. at a young age,
and after completing his military service, he launched his first startup with high school classmates.
While running that startup, he connected with jewelry artisans and began his jewelry business in earnest.
After getting married and having children, he became interested in items that could be used for a long time rather than disposable ones.
This led to the creation of the J.Dot Tree, which lets you enjoy every day of the year as if it were Christmas,
and all six of the related funding campaigns were a huge success. 🎉
