CEO Lee Soo-hyang worked at the cosmetics company Amorepacific for about 10 years and then spent five years at Korea Yakult. After that, she founded CosmeChef.
At first, she had an unfounded confidence in her cosmetics and assumed they would automatically be a hit, but they didn’t sell. As a result, she reportedly lost a significant amount of money.
Fame doesn’t come overnight, so she had to find a solution to this problem before launching her business.
