People Making Waves
Game Changer, Mokibo
What is a Game Changer?
It refers to people who are making waves alongside wadiz.
"Game Changer" features the heartfelt stories of makers.
Interview Highlights!
I heard that the Mokibo Fusion Keyboard was first launched on the international funding platform Indiegogo.
As a result, they have a deeper understanding of the international funding ecosystem than any other maker and explained the differences between it and wadiz.
In the case of U.S. funding, they said makers have to handle almost everything on their own.
There’s no concept of “pre-launch marketing,” so they have to handle all the promotion themselves.
However, they said wadiz feels much more like a funding expert.
He mentioned that the detailed instructions and various guides on how makers can conduct their funding campaigns most efficiently are a huge help.
Another difference from overseas funding is that there are agencies available to assist makers with tasks they can’t handle on their own.
So, after experiencing crowdfunding on wadiz once, Mokibo CEO Jo Eun-hyung
she realized, “Oh, so this is how it’s done!” and was able to effectively apply the know-how she gained from her wadiz campaign when she took on the challenge of funding in the U.S. again.
CEO Jo Eun-hyung of Mokibo, who says she was able to bounce back through wadiz every time a crisis struck, described wadiz as “a timely rain in a drought.”
