Ceramic Mug Pot: For a Perfect Meal Even When You’re Alone—A Delicious Challenge from a Renowned Japanese Ceramics House
- This is a project for single-serving ceramic mugs made in Arita, Japan—a renowned center for ceramics.
- Using premium ingredients and expertise that bring out the best in rice, we’ve made it possible for everyone to enjoy the authentic pot-cooked rice flavor that was once exclusive to omakase restaurants.
- To overcome the limitations of handmade products with limited production quantities, we’ve structured this project with staggered shipping dates.

A delicious bowl of rice lingers in the heart longer than any other dish. The gleaming grains of rice inside the earthenware pot, the moist, warm sensation spreading from the tip of the spoon, the plump texture filling your mouth, and the sweet, savory flavor—this is precisely why Japanese culinary artisans pay such close attention to the pots they use to cook rice.
The “Single-Serving Ceramic Mug Rice Cooker” was born from the convergence of the technical expertise of Arita—a pottery village with a 400-year tradition—the creative ideas of a top ryokan chef, and the know-how of a Japanese tableware company. This ceramic rice cooker, which enhances the flavor of rice using only a microwave without the need for precise heat control, is made from Japanese kaolin and Zimbabwean petalite, boasting the highest quality. Those who have been moved by the world of fine dining offered by the Mug Pot say in unison, “This is a product that lets anyone cook rice like a chef and savor the natural sweetness of the rice.” . This special mug rice cooker raised approximately 450 million won on Makuake and is now ready to grace our dining tables via wadiz.
