*My Name Is Kim Sam-soon* Script Collection: A Publishing CEO’s Challenge to “Revive Memories” of a Beloved Drama
- This is a project featuring the uncut, writer’s edition script of the popular drama *My Name Is Kim Sam-soon*, returning after 19 years.
- It was prepared by a maker who was the first in the publishing industry to release a drama scriptbook and even reached the “No. 1 spot on Kyobo Bookstore’s Overall Bestseller List” with that very scriptbook.
- They created a synergy effect by simultaneously launching the funding campaign, releasing the director’s cut of the drama, and re-releasing the OST album.

The drama *My Name Is Kim Sam-soon* set the year 2005 ablaze. Many fans who cherish those memories still can’t forget “Sam-soon’s iconic quotes.” And this fall, 19 years after the series ended, that emotion was recreated with the release of an uncut, writer’s edition script collection. Even the cast members reportedly welcomed the publication of the scriptbook. Coinciding with this, the drama’s OST was re-released, stirring the hearts of all of us who loved Sam-soon.
*My Name Is Kim Sam-soon* was hailed as a “real-life drama” thanks to its deeply memorable lines and achieved a viewership rating of 51.1%. Through the story of Sam-soon—who was honest about her feelings and stood tall in the face of others’ judgments—the show offered both relatability and emotional resonance. It also popularized the profession of “patissier,” which was relatively unfamiliar at the time. The script collection, planned as a two-volume set, includes not only the uncut scripts but also comments from the writer and director, actor interviews, and various other content, making it a wonderful gift for supporters who loved the drama.
DIY Bead Art Kit: A Creator’s Sparkling Challenge to Bring Korean Aesthetics to Life by Hand
- This is a DIY bead craft project featuring traditional Korean designs made by hand.
- Alongside the popular designs <Dancheong> and <Nengsohwa>, we’ve introduced a new <Ilwol-O봉do> design that reinterprets the beauty of Korea.
- The fusion of reinterpreted traditional designs and the DIY trend quickly captured the hearts of Gen Z and Millennial wadiz supporters.

The lustrous beads shimmer in the breeze. Korean Dancheong, the trumpet vine, and the “Sun, Moon, and Five Peaks” motif are meticulously strung together, one stitch at a time, by hand. When traditional designs meet the new medium of “beads,” they showcase a unique charm unlike anything seen before.
This is more than just a bead kit featuring traditional motifs. To capture the luxurious color palette of Dancheong, we personally sourced custom-dyed beads, and to depict the sun and moon in the “Sun, Moon, and Five Peaks” motif, we carefully considered the beads’ transparency and luster. Above all , we meticulously designed the patterns and components so that even craft beginners could complete their bead art. Supporters, captivated by the designs that reinterpret traditional materials and the charm of handcrafted work, rushed to support the project. From the very first day of its launch, this DIY bead art kit ranked second in real-time sales and received enthusiastic cheers right up until the end. This project clearly demonstrated the impact of a product born from meticulous planning.
