Hello, I’m Lim Ah-hyun, CEO of 210 Company. I currently run two fashion brands: ‘210 Edit’ and ‘Hyperite.’ We launched in the winter of 2019, so we’re already in our fifth year. We’re a brand that’s growing steadily. I think the reason we’ve been able to grow like this is our dedication to using high-quality materials. Rather than cutting costs to maximize profits, our commitment to creating the best possible clothing for our customers has remained unwavering for five years. Perhaps that’s why we’re seeing more and more supporters who recognize our brand and continue to provide funding and make purchases.
The Special Reason Behind Founding a Fashion Brand

210 Company is a business my husband and I founded together. I used to work in advertising and marketing, and my husband was a designer. He mentioned that a designer’s career can be short-lived, and that he’d dreamed of having his own brand since he was a child. That’s how we naturally ended up creating a brand together.

Working together as a couple isn’t easy. While we make decisions quickly because we know each other so well, on the other hand, work and family life are so closely intertwined that there are many challenges. It can also feel strange to see your partner at work. If anyone is dreaming of starting a business with their spouse, I’d advise them to wait until they can truly understand each other before taking the plunge.
Our Unique Launch Routine Developed Through wadiz

For us, wadiz isn’t just a distribution channel. It’s a place where we can showcase our newly designed clothes first and gauge our supporters’ reactions. Since we can immediately see through the data which colors get a good response and which sizes are popular, it’s a huge help with demand forecasting.
Our brand is also available on the wadiz Store. Products that have successfully completed their funding campaigns can be easily found there. To be honest, we actually generate more sales through the wadiz Store than through our own online store. (Laughs)

Since we’ve been with wadiz from the very beginning, it feels like a “home” to us. Thanks to our supporters who wait patiently and cheer us on, we’re able to create new products, and we feel we can continue to stay consistent.

That consistency isn’t just about showing up to work every day—it’s about keeping the brand’s direction and philosophy at the forefront of our minds and putting them into practice. We’ve never once considered using cheaper materials. We’ve always prioritized the highest quality, and we believe our supporters recognize that sincerity.
Our Journey with wadiz That Led to Securing Investment

We were also selected as part of the first cohort of “NEXT BRAND,” a program on wadiz designed to help brands grow. Following that, we were fortunate enough to secure Series A funding. It was just the right time for us to scale our business and expand our channels, and thanks to our connection with wadiz Partners, we learned about the Lycon Fund in collaboration with Lotte Home Shopping, which ultimately led to our Series A funding round.

We consider wadiz to be an indispensable part of our brand. We will continue to grow steadily in our own unique way so that we can maintain our connection with our supporters through great clothing.
