for an experiential project
Story Creation Guide
You'll find out when you read this
- The story is a space where supporters feel they "want to support" this project.
- In experiential projects, the key is to show the reasons for progress and the changes that will occur.
- If you follow the five steps in order, you can easily write a story even if it's your first time.
01. What is the story?
Simply put, it's a detailed page of Wadiz. Supporters decide to participate when they sympathize with the meaning and change of the project. So it's important to show the reason you started the project and the changes you want to achieve. Good stories don't just come from special experiences. If I honestly capture my story that I thought was no big deal, I can meet "my side" who will sympathize with and support the story.
light form In the project, supporters judge three things in particular.
- Do you sympathize with how you started the project?
- Do you see any changes that will be made with funding?
- Can you trust Maker and support him?
02. Story Creation Step 5
If you follow this order, you can complete a story even if it's your first time.
If you paste the prompt next to each step into WAi (Wadiz AI Partner), you can get the draft right away.
| Sequence | content | WAi Prompt (use after duplication) |
| STEP 1 | Project title | My project is an activity/purpose project for [target]. Write 10 so that you can understand what project it is just by reading the title. Object, activity, and purpose are naturally revealed, and avoid expressions that are too long or abstract. |
| STEP 2 | Project Preparation Background and Purpose | I started this project because I had [a] experience [a] and [a] feeling [a] feeling. Write it as an empathetic introduction where supporters can feel, "Uh, this is my story," so that why you started and the goals you want to achieve are naturally revealed. |
| STEP 3 | Project/Reward Contents | My project will be done [target/content/method]. If successful, [change/result including numbers] is possible. Please organize it specifically so that supporters want to participate. Rewards are [composition]. |
| STEP 4 | a plan to use funding | Please organize the funding plan in the format below. ① [Target amount and reason needed] ② [Plan to use when excessively recruiting items and funding] ③ [How to share progress and results]. Please make it transparent so that supporters can trust it. |
| STEP 5 | Maker Introduction | I'm a person who is [my background/story]. Based on the experience related to the project and the story that led to this project, please write an introduction to the maker with a natural understanding of why you started with Wadiz. At the end, please also add a heartfelt sentence to your supporters to join you. |
03. Essentials for story writing
1) Project title
The project title is the first name that supporters will see. Write it down so that you can understand what kind of project it is just by reading the title. It's enough just to reveal the object, activity, and purpose naturally.
example
- Bear nesting project, present a better life to the breeding bear.
- Building an Art Museum in a Small Rural Village in Huryong-ri, Gangwon-do
- A Small Step, Parallel Space Project for IZ*ONE Re-launching
Write it down and check it out
- Can you tell me what kind of project it is just by looking at the title?
- Isn't it too long or an abstract expression?
2) Project Preparation Background and Purpose
Write down why you started this project and what you want to achieve. When and under what circumstances this idea came to mind and how they felt at that time, supporters can understand the background of the project and sympathize more with the authenticity of the maker.
- Writing Tip: If you write specifically about the timing ("last winter," "three years ago") or the situation ("on the way home from work," "when I first found out"), your empathy will increase. Don't try to write grandiosely, but write it down naturally as you say.
- Example: A Funding Project for the Reopening of Youngchul Burger, a Family of Korea University

3) Project/Reward Contents
Write down specifically what you will do through the project and how the rewards will be provided. It's easier to understand the value of the project if you show them what changes the supporter's participation leads to.
- Writing Tip: The more specifically you write the numbers ("100 kids," "500 copies made"), the more reliable they are.
- Example:Funding Project for Warm Nesting of Abandoned Animals

4) a plan to use funding
Write down specifically where you will spend your funding. The more non-profitable projects, the more important the supporters think about how the funding is used. You can trust the project more by clearly writing the purpose and percentage of the use. Use the template below to write it by item.
Funding Spend Plan Template
- Target amount and why you need it: (Explain in specific numbers and context exactly how much you need for what)
- Detailed use plan
- Use Items
- Plan for use when overfunding
- Planning to share progress and results: (e.g. Wadiz news, SNS, blogs, reports, etc.)
Example of writing (Bear nesting project)
- Target amount and reason for need: The target amount for this project is 3 million won. The full funding will be used for fruit transportation, grooming, kennel cleaning, feeding and facility maintenance activities to create a nest where a bear can stay for the rest of its life.
- Detailed use plan
- What You Use: Funding is used in full to take care of old and tired breeding bears until they are protected in Sanctuary. (Fruit transportation, grooming, kennel cleaning, feeding, facility maintenance)
- Plan to use it for overfunding: If it is used for care expenses and remains, it will needless to say, be used to care for breeding bears in Sanctuary.
- The progress and outcome sharing plan: The use of the funding is available steadily and vividly through Wadiz News and the Bear House website/blog/SNS.
5) Maker Introduction
Please introduce who you are and why you worked on this project yourself. If you include the experience related to the project, personal stories, and reasons for choosing Wadiz together, it will be easier for supporters to feel closer to the maker and sympathize with the project. Please write about the story that connects with the project rather than the history.
- Writing Tip: Rather than listing your history or career, try capturing your own experience related to the project or your own story about doing this project.
- Example: Funding Project to Create a World Without Illegal Filming

04. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. I want to put photos of the scene in the story, how many would be appropriate?
A. 1 to 2 sheets per section, 5 to 10 sheets in total is appropriate. It's more important for photos to be connected to the content than to be pretty. Put the scene in the background and the maker's introduction in context like a real activity photo. Photos taken with smartphones are enough.
Q. Wouldn't it seem too appealing if I write an emotional story?
A. Experiences and feelings in person are an important persuasion factor for the light project. However, try to capture a specific scene rather than an abstract expression. It makes it much easier for supporters to sympathize with the situation and understand the meaning of the project.
Q. The usage plan changed during the funding process. Do I need to revise the story?
A. Yes. First, please let your supporters know about the changes to the news. After specifically guiding the reason for the change and the changes, you can also modify the story and update it with the latest information.
