Wadiz Pricing (Commission) at a Glance

Starting in February 2026, Wadiz operates a single pricing plan of 12% service usage fee + payment settlement processing fee (3% + 99,000 won).
If you are a maker with no history of funding success, including the first funding, you can get a 30% discount on the service fee. This applies equally to both Korean and overseas payment projects.

1. Wadiz Service Fees (12%)
The Wadiz service fee is a fee to use the basic functions required for project operation and the AI-based operation support function.
It's not just a platform fee, but it comes with six services below, including story-based AI and automatic project opening functions.

30% off commission if you're a maker that's starting your first round of funding
A 30% discount on service fees is applied to makers who do not have a history of success in Wadiz.
Application criteria: Based on the business registration number, it will be applied when the Wadiz first project is successful

If you are a maker who opens a global project at the same time, you will receive a 0% fee
For makers who open Korean and overseas projects together in Wadiz, 0% of the Wadiz service fee for payment outside of Korea is applied.

A 90% discount on service fees will be applied to private makers who open sponsorship and fandom funding at Wadiz.
Criteria for application: Applicable when sponsorship or fandom funding is opened by an individual, not a business operator

[Find My Side campaign benefit 2] If you're a local maker, you can get a 50% discount
A 50% discount on service fees is applied to local makers who open funding in Wadiz.
Applicable criteria: Manufacturers with or living in business establishments outside of Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon (both business operators/individuals)

2. Payment settlement processing fee
The payment settlement processing fee is a fee that includes the payment agency fee incurred for payment in Korea and outside Korea and various processing costs required for the settlement process.
The rates of Korean makers and non-Korean makers are different.

Q. Does a single pricing plan apply to makers who are new to Wadiz?
A. Yes, a single pricing plan will be applied to all projects that have completed "Submit" by Maker Studio since February 2, 2026. However, if you are a first-time maker, you will get a 30% discount from the service usage fee (12%), which will lower the actual fee rate (until December 31, 2026).
You can check the discount application right away on the Maker Studio > Service Fee menu.
Q. How will the fee be settled in case of funding failure?
A. If funding fails, there is basically no Wadiz platform fee and settlement fee. However, if there are advertisements and external additional services used separately, only those expenses will be settled separately.
Q. On what basis are the fees charged for projects under the previous pricing plan (Basic, Pro, Expert) and how do I receive the tax invoice?
A. Projects that have completed submissions before February 2, 2026, will retain their existing selection pricing plan.
Tax invoices are issued at different times depending on the type of project (funding, preorder, and store), and for more information, please check the Funding, Preorder project tax invoice issuance guide, and Global project tax invoice issuance guide.
Q. How will the fee be processed for a simple change of mind refund after delivery is completed?
Under the E-Commerce Act, the fee return policy is applied to simple change of mind refunds received within 7 days of completion of delivery.
However, the application criteria vary depending on the project submission date, so please refer to the contents below.
