Donghwa Garden: A Must-Visit on Any Gangneung Trip—The No. 1 Restaurant with the Longest Wait Lines Takes on a New Challenge
- This is a 30th-anniversary project for “Donghwa Garden,” the No. 1 restaurant in Gangwon Province for table reservations.
- We highlighted that customers can comfortably enjoy Donghwa Garden’s six signature dishes from Gangneung right at home.
- Instead of outsourcing via OEM, we produced small batches in-house to ensure both quality and authenticity.

“Donghwa Garden” popularized the national favorite “Jjamppong Sundubu” and has been a fixture in the Chodang Sundubu Village for 30 years. It’s a long-standing restaurant so well-known that it’s considered a must-visit on any Gangneung itinerary . It continues to enjoy immense popularity, still boasting the No. 1 spot for table wait times in the Gangwon Province region. Now, through wadiz, it has embarked on a new challenge: “In-House Production Meal Kits.”
On July 11, people who remembered Donghwa Garden’s steaming hot bowls quickly gathered. Recalling family trips to Gangneung and the cheonggukjang they enjoyed while sweating through the hot summer, they cheered for Donghwa Garden’s new venture. Thanks to their support, the campaign reached 2,500% of its funding goal in just one day and claimed the No. 1 spot on wadiz’s real-time rankings.
Super Taekwon V Transformation Robot: A Meaningful Challenge That Demonstrated the Potential of Classic IP
- This is a project that faithfully recreates the animated film “Super Taekwon V,” which has returned after 42 years.
- We provided a detailed introduction to the reissue’s features, from the main body to the transformation parts, wings, guns, and missiles.
- We even meticulously recreated the original toy box exactly as it appeared at launch, winning over fans’ hearts.

Taekwon V, a legend of Korean animation, has returned. This project, which reissued a toy originally released 42 years ago, touched the hearts of long-time Taekwon V fans across the country.
It received an especially enthusiastic response from the “young seniors” in their 60s, demonstrating that nostalgia for the past can foster a strong fanbase across all generations. This nostalgic transforming robot would never have seen the light of day without the “funding first, produce later” model of funding . It achieved the remarkable feat of raising 100 million won within just two days of the funding campaign launch, making this a meaningful challenge that not only covered the mold costs but also confirmed market demand.
Smart Ring: A Bold Challenge in Wearables for Innovation Everyone Can Enjoy
- We unveiled an innovative smart ring that incorporates state-of-the-art nano-processing technology into a 2.5mm design.
- We actively highlighted that this product lowers price barriers, such as offering the exclusive wadiz supporter app for “0 won.”
- They meticulously provided a size kit for measuring ring circumference, building trust between supporters and the maker.

Smart technology is right at our fingertips. The Smart Ring is the “smallest” wearable device, smaller and lighter than a smartwatch, offering high versatility. It’s a technology that has caught the attention of major domestic and international corporations, including S Electronics. However, due to high price barriers, it has not yet become widely adopted.
MiniDuct took on the challenge of opening the door to the era of smart rings. We introduced a smart ring equipped with health-monitoring features—from sleep tracking to heart rate and step counting—at a price point in the 10万원 range. Just 38 minutes after the funding campaign launched, they raised 53 million won and claimed the top spot in real-time rankings, proving the curiosity and demand among supporters for smart rings. Since this was a novel yet unfamiliar product, actively engaging with supporters to build trust played a crucial role in its success.
Baroque Pearl Jewelry: The Challenge of a “Pearl Collector”—Collecting One-of-a-Kind Radiance
- This is a unique jewelry project that embodies knowledge, passion, and expertise regarding Baroque pearls.
- It captures the mood seen in international fashion spreads, blending vintage charm with a rich gold-plated design.
- Thanks to the rarity of Baroque pearls—which can no longer be found once production ends—the pieces have become highly collectible.

Do you know which pearls are the rarest in the world? Baroque pearls are the most natural organic gemstones, retaining the exact shape they took on inside the oyster. They possess a captivating charm, shimmering with iridescent hues along their curves. Unlike conventional gemstones that undergo human processing, baroque pearls are created solely by the power of nature. Not only is it difficult to source them, butit’s also hard to produce uniform shapes ,making them incredibly precious and rare.
Pearl by Jun, a jewelry artist specializing in pearls, is a pearl collector deeply captivated by the beauty of baroque pearls . She embarked on this challenge to introduce the charm of these “slightly different” baroque pearls to a wider audience.Perhaps it was the hearts of supporters who were searching for their own unique, luminous hues that were moved by this project. Within just two hours of the funding launch, it reached 3,000% of its goal and ranked 8th in real-time rankings. This was the first time on wadiz that a Baroque pearl jewelry project successfully met its funding goal.
