we explained why you should launch your project on wadiz’s commerce platform, “Store,” and the characteristics of successful projects on Store.
Thanks to features that set it apart from other commerce platforms—such as the deep connection between supporters and makers, and the tendency of supporters to focus on Stories rather than price—wadiz Store provides a platform of opportunity for a wide range of projects, from established brands to newly launched startups.
Of course, while wadiz Store provides various forms of support to makers as a platform,
“advertising and marketing” are essential for ensuring the success of your project.
In the online commerce market, not running advertising and marketing campaigns is no different from opening a store on a deserted street and waiting endlessly for customers.

We strongly recommend that wadiz funding and pre-order makers also engage in advertising and marketing. Since the Store is a year-round sales channel, it requires a slightly different advertising strategy than funding or pre-order projects. In this post, we’ll explore advertising strategies that increase the likelihood of success for Store projects, along with real-world examples.
*If you’re new to wadiz advertising, please check out the basic guide below first!
➡️ Understanding wadiz Push, Display, and Targeted Ads
1. Utilizing Store-Exclusive Promotions and Special Events
First, there’s something you should take care of before running your own ads: checking and participating in wadiz Store-exclusive promotions and special events.
Wadiz regularly runs special promotions exclusively for makers operating Store projects. Examples include the Weekend Market, Club Price, and Wa-Show.

Participating in these promotions not only allows you to send CRM messages—such as SMS, KakaoTalk push notifications, and app push notifications—during the event period but also provides coupons for supporters, with wadiz covering the costs.
In particular, since your project will be featured on the Store homepage banner and at the top of the “Recommended” tab, simply participating in these events can yield significant advertising and marketing benefits.
It’s important to combine the benefits of these store-exclusive promotions with the maker’s own advertising efforts to maximize the impact.

2. Try “Lowest Price” Marketing
If you participate in a Store promotion, trying a “lowest price” marketing strategy is also a good idea.
This is because wadiz Store projects are included in Naver Shopping’s price comparison feature.
In this case, your products will be displayed at prices that include promotion-exclusive coupon benefits or the 5,000 won discount offered for first-time store purchases.
In other words, if you carefully adjust and set the prices on your own online store and other distribution channels to match the wadiz Rewards price, your Store Project will be featured as the lowest price on Naver Shopping.
Since wadiz covers the cost of these coupons, you can try “lowest price” marketing without any out-of-pocket expenses.

If your Store project is featured as the lowest price on Naver, you must use keywords such as “exclusive price” and “lowest price” in your ad copy.
This is because price benefits can generate greater advertising impact than any other creative element. If you also offer special bundles or options exclusive to the wadiz Store, you can further entice supporters.
3. Use Your Store’s Unique Strengths in Your Ad Copy
Let’s explore a few more tips for ad creatives.
If you’re a maker who previously ran a wadiz funding or pre-order project and has since joined the Store, you should definitely reuse the creatives that performed well during your funding or pre-order campaign. However, it’s a good idea to incorporate the Store’s unique features to highlight what sets it apart.
Since the Store is a year-round sales channel, Rewards are shipped faster than with funding or pre-order campaigns. For supporters who have previously experienced the product through a funding or pre-order campaign, the fact that they’ll receive their Rewards faster this time—unlike during the campaign—will be a major draw. In particular, for projects using the Wadiz Delivery service, orders placed in the morning can be shipped the same day.

Therefore, we recommend using keywords such as “fast shipping” and “same-day shipping” in your Store project ads.
Even though early-morning delivery is now taken for granted, the message that customers can receive their ordered products quickly still serves as a key selling point for supporters.
Additionally, coupons or promotional discounts available exclusively to Store supporters can also be used as advertising materials.
4. Show the features of your Rewards intuitively
The most important point when creating ad content is to use intuitive and concise expressions.
While this isn’t exclusive to store ads, I’m emphasizing it once more because it’s such an important yet easily overlooked aspect.
Ads that achieve high conversion rates share the following common traits: (1) they are viewed from the customer’s perspective, (2) they highlight the product’s strengths, (3) they capture attention within 5 seconds, and (4) they use simple ad creatives.

Especially in e-commerce ads, complex and lengthy text descriptions only increase supporter fatigue.
Eye-catching images, a clean layout that separates images from text, and a brief tagline highlighting the Rewards’ strengths are what work best.
Let’s take a look at the examples below. The first ad concisely highlights the technology in running shoes that turns impact into propulsion, using a dynamic image that effectively showcases this feature. The second ad follows the same approach. With just short phrases like “Installed in 15 seconds” and “Ultra-lightweight capsule tent,” it fully conveys the Rewards’ strengths. In fact, both ads recorded conversion rates higher than the average.

You can find more information on selecting effective ad creatives and additional examples in the guide below.

5. You Need to Set Up at Least 3–5 Ad Variations
Next is a strategy for setting up Targeted Ads, the ad product most frequently used by store makers.
First, when running Targeted Ads, you need to set up 3–5 ad creatives per campaign. Occasionally, some makers set up only 1 or 2 creatives and stop there.
In the early stages of a campaign, it’s essential to set up multiple creatives so that machine learning can compare and analyze each one . This is because the features you think make your product stand out often differ from the creatives that actually resonate with supporters.
Example of an ad campaign that created an efficient exposure environment by setting up 4 or more creatives
By running ads with at least 3–5 creatives, you can identify which ones resonate with supporters and then select and focus on those accordingly.
Therefore, it’s also essential for makers to periodically review campaign performance, pause underperforming creatives, and test new ones.
In summary, run your ads with multiple creatives that allow for comparison and analysis,
and carefully manage which creatives to turn on or off based on the results—only then can you run efficient targeted ads.
6. We recommend a daily budget of at least 100,000 won and monthly campaign management
For effective machine learning setup, not only the number of creatives but also the budget and duration are important.
For wadiz store project ads, we recommend running monthly campaigns with a minimum daily budget of 100,000 won.
Meta, where wadiz’s targeted ads are displayed, determines the reach based on your budget. Therefore, if your budget is too small or the campaign duration is too short, the reach will be limited, preventing your ad from reaching a sufficient number of supporters.

The ad above is an example that achieved good results by effectively applying the formula of a daily budget of 100,000 won, emphasizing coupon discounts, and setting up three or more ad creatives.
Now, let’s look at an example of campaign settings assuming you have secured a budget of 3,000,000 won.
We recommend setting a daily budget of 100,000 won and a monthly advertising budget of 3 million won. We’ll set up three campaigns, each with a budget of 1 million won, and fix the ad duration at one month.
At this point, it’s also a good strategy to vary the ad types for each campaign and run them separately, as shown below.
- Campaign #1: Slide Ad Format
- Campaign #2: 4:5 Video Format
- Campaign 3: 1:1 aspect ratio image
Afterward, monitor performance on a weekly basis, increasing the budget for high-performing campaigns,
and for low-performing campaigns, pause the current creatives or add new ones.
Even if you’ve applied all the tips mentioned earlier, it’s important to experiment with as wide a variety of materials as possible, as mentioned at the end, and
The most important thing is to turn campaigns on and off at the right time based on the performance of each ad! Please be sure to remember this.
Ad setup and management are areas that many makers find most challenging.
It is a crucial factor that significantly impacts project performance.
